Nice to meet you. I'm Michelle,

and I absolutely love to tell stories.

From my childhood, I naturally gravitated towards any available camera, enthusiastically capturing my surroundings and narrating in a style reminiscent of my best Louis Theroux. Continuously exploring ways to document people, landscapes, and subjects, this passion led me to pursue filmmaking at Vancouver Film School. This journey allowed me the opportunity to write and direct my first short documentary about The Spaghetti Factory in Gastown, which was short-listed as a final project in the documentary filmmaking course.

Post-graduation, I landed my first professional role in the film and tv industry as an assistant editor. In 2015, I began freelance editing on the side while I took a short professional shift to post production coordinating to work on such television shows as ‘Cedar Cove’ for US network The Hallmark Channel, and films including the Sony Pictures animated feature film ‘Sausage Party’, starring Seth Rogan.

By 2018, I loved editing so much that I shifted again but into the animation world and worked as an animatic editor through to 2023, working on children’s shows such as Netflix’s ‘Super Monsters’ and ‘Not Quite Narwhal’ and Peacock TV’s ‘Megamind Rules!’, set to be released in 2024.

My true passion, however, was and always has been crafting authentic narratives. My biggest joy and privilege of all is in connecting with others and understanding their journey. That realisation steered me toward the dynamic realms of videography, where I’ve gained autonomy to my work while helping others bring their vision to reality. To better assist with this, I’ve accredited a certificate in Meta Social Media Marketing. 🎥✨

What are my credentials?

I hold a professional certificate in Meta Social Media Marketing and a Film Production Diploma from Vancouver Film School, as well as a Life Coaching certificate from Rhodes Wellness College in Vancouver, Canada.
